Vitamin E

Vitamin E

Since its discovery at the University of California at Berkeley over 75 years ago, vitamin E has been found to play a crucial role in many of our major bodily functions, helping to diminish the effects of aging! Natural vitamin E is composed mainly of four compounds called Tocopherols: d-alpha, beta, gamma and delta Tocopherol. It is stored in our bodies in the liver, fatty tissues, muscles, heart, blood, uterus and testes - plus the adrenal and pituitary glands! Since it is stored for a very short time and then eliminated, we need to constantly supply vitamin E to our bodies.
